Woo hoo, SNOW!!!
I stayed up in Estes last nite and was totally thrilled to hear we were going to get about a foot of snow! Finally my chance to see how the 4x4 on my truck actually works. Decided that I could use a beefy new set of tires next year, but I definately think my Yota was the best purchase I've made in the past couple years. I passed at least 6 or 7 accidents (mostly cars sliding off the road) in the 16 miles from Estes to Lyons this morning - most of them were SUVs and mini vans. Go figure.
Anyway, finally got photos from Bassetts Fire, courtesy of Dave. Hopefully Lloyd will send me his but we'll see.
Getting psyched up for Halloween! My favorite holiday. So many costumes to choose from... I'm thinking of recycling the Bettie Page costume, since I didn't really wear it anywhere last year. Otherwise, thinking of Jean Grey from X-Men, Tombraider, or some other hardcore psycho chickee. ;)

I'm bummed because I just found out Tim will be at Colorado National Monument doing trail work on Halloween, and gone for about 3 weeks, but the Rock Inn is having a Halloween party the weekend before so at least we can do that together.

That is a good photo, alot of men......you must be in heaven! Anyways Kevin and I are looking at a 5 acre parcel this weeken...I let you know how it goes. We have decided or have come up with some sort of plan for out lives.

If we absolutley do not find a house or a place to build a house very very soon, we will continue renting, maybe even try to find a house to rent. in the meantime we are still applying for jobs in NC. If we dont move there this year we will stay here for maybe three to four years...depends...and then move down there...but the thing is...it would be best if we could move down there now. So far we keep running in brick wall after brick wall when trying to find a home here in Michigan, on property...and we dont want to loose our jobs....and then relize were scewed.
2. SO This Christmas Kevin and I will be heading down to North Carolina and South Carolina...so scope out our favorite cities....Raleigh,Charlotte,Greensville,Charleston. And then we will have a better idea if we even want to move down there in the first place! we need to look into how good the public schools are,economy ect.
Im getting kinda excited becuase we all of the sudden planned this trip like two days ago. Im hoping we will have a better idea of what to do. If we still end up staying here in Michigan we would have to buy a house and would not be able to sell if until the economy improves...which could take years, on the other hand if it does improve we may just stay here in the longrun.
OH WELL! I know Im so CONFUSING! LIFE my friend is the confusing part!
